What is a nutritional coach?
As a nutritional coach, I can:
Provide nutritional advice, support and coaching for individuals or groups.

Analyse a person’s diet and lifestyle to determine their energy expenditure, energy intake, macronutrient intake and potential vitamin deficiencies.

Aiding clients with making positive changes to their diets, moving them towards a healthier balanced diet.
Provide meal plans and nutritional programmes in accordance with clients’ beliefs, circumstances and food preferences.

Provide life-stage nutritional guidance, such as pre/postnatal, childhood obesity prevention and nutritional advice for the elderly.

As a nutritional coach I cant:
Prescribe nutritional advice and care for medical conditions. If this applies to you, I recommend you speak to your GP first. You may be referred to a registered dietitian.
While I share the same core values and base my teachings on similar principles and government guidelines, a registered Dietitian is qualified to assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for dietary and health problems.

Act as a Personal Trainer (PT), I do not have the qualifications to provide exercise programs. However, being active is fundamental to health and wellness. Therefore, I can advise on ideal activity levels. As a Nutritional Coach, I can work alongside your PT to help you achieve your fitness and dietary goals.
